Additional Requirements:
- Age 30 to 40 years
Understanding of intimate apparel construction and sensitive fabric handling.
Experience working with buyers like HBI, H&M, NEXT, etc.
Familiarity with compliance audits (e.g., WRAP, BSCI, SEDEX) and lingerie-specific AQL levels.
Must be Punctual, Responsive, able to multi-task and take the pressure.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Establish, implement, and maintain quality standards and inspection procedures specifically for lingerie products (bras, panties, shapewear, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to buyer quality manuals and AQL levels across all processes.
- Lead the development of quality SOPs based on lingerie-specific requirements (fit, comfort, hygiene sensitivity, delicate construction).
- Manage and guide in-line, end-line, and final inspection teams across sewing and finishing lines.
- Train quality inspectors on lingerie-specific critical control points.
- Monitor inspector performance and upgrade skill levels through continuous coaching.
- Coordinate with the Technical & Merchandising teams to resolve fit and construction-related concerns.
- Supervise in-line inspections to detect early-stage defects.
- Conduct defect trend analysis and identify root causes of recurring quality issues.
- Collaborate with production, IE, and technical teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Lead problem-solving sessions (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone) on major quality failures.
- Oversee incoming inspection of sensitive materials (lace, elastic, hooks & eyes, molded cups, wires).
- Submit weekly and monthly quality performance reports to top management.
