Bachelor’s/Master’s in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Industrial Engineering., Post Graduate Diploma in SCM from BIM is preferable.
Preferred major: Procurement, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
8–10 years of relevant experience in procurement within consumer electronics or appliance industries.
Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and implement vendor sourcing strategies aligned with business needs.
Negotiate supplier contracts, commercial terms, and pricing to maximize cost efficiency.
Maintain and strengthen long-term supplier partnerships through effective relationship management.
Ensure cost-effective procurement of TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, and other home appliances.
Drive continuous process improvements and cost-saving initiatives in purchasing operations.
Align purchasing strategies with company profitability and growth goals.
Monitor supplier performance against quality, delivery, and compliance standards.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement purchase plans in line with production schedules and sales targets.
Optimize inventory levels to balance cost, efficiency, and product availability.
Track lead times and ensure on-time procurement to meet project requirements.
Collaborate with production, finance, and sales teams to ensure seamless operations.
Provide timely purchasing reports, spend analysis, and market intelligence to leadership.
