∎ Job Context: The Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager - Learning and Development holds the accountability for driving the implementation of corporate Learning and Development (L&D) strategies, plans and policies aligned with ZXY`s philosophies and strategic plan. The incumbent will be responsible for promoting a continuous learning culture by delivering workplace learning, performance improvement programs, employee engagement and wellness initiatives to best achieve long-term business success.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and deliver Talent and Leadership Development interventions that support the execution of business strategies and enhance business performance.
∎ Implement best practices to drive strategies for retention, culture change, and other relevant factors impacting employee engagement.
∎ Enhance the existing Performance Management System to reinforce strong performance, standards, and organizational expectations.
∎ Act as the organizational development advisor by advocating practices that improve team effectiveness, systems thinking, personal mastery, employee engagement and continuous improvement.
∎ Develop and implement impactful organization-wide employee learning and engagement initiatives.
∎ Develop long-term strategies and best-in-class initiatives to promote and achieve a culture of excellence and high engagement.
∎ Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
∎ Develop, maintain, and deliver key Talent programs and supporting the overall development of capability across the organization as per corporate training calendar.
∎ Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers.
∎ Draw an overall as well as individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations.
∎ Deploy a wide variety of training methods and develop learning activities, audio-visual materials, instructor guides and lesson plans.
∎ Identify internal resource persons for specific training and arrange the training internally.
∎ Liaise with external training vendors to provide training (which cannot be met from internal resources)
∎ Monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness (pre and post), success and ROI periodically and report on them.
∎ Track the development of each participant after attending the training.
∎ Manage training and employee engagement budget.
∎ Prepare annual employee engagement calendar.
∎ Execute and manage the events in close alliance with cross functional teams.
∎ Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions.
∎ Enhance and enrich the company corporate newsletter to deliver relevant information, keep employees up to date and engaged with the organization, as well as build a sense of community within the workplace.
∎ Lead rewards and recognition strategy and outcomes including reviewing, evaluating, and making recommendations for organization-wide recognition programs.
∎ Continuously evaluate innovative solutions to enhance the employee experiences at ZXY International
Additional Requirements:
∎ Additional supplementary qualifications in Psychology and Organizational Behavior are desirable.
∎ At least 7 years' experience in HR with functional specialization in Learning and Development / Organization Development & Employee Engagement preferably in a multinational company
∎ Should have solid working knowledge of L&D foundational concepts and processes.
∎ Should have proven track record of managing projects in the L&D function in liaison with external stakeholders as well as own innovative development of modules from scratch.
∎ High quality relationship management, influencing, facilitation and presentation skills.
∎ Strategic thinking, planning and analysis skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to support the management of change.
∎ Presence and credibility to work with the executive team and senior colleagues across the ZXY.
∎ Highly organized and able to manage a broad portfolio of activities.
∎ Evidence of strong customer focus, with the ability to create excellent working relationships at all levels.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
∎ IT Literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
