Job Responsibilities:
∎ Supervise and implement time and action plan for all order and follow-up regularly.
∎ Follow up with potential suppliers (nominated/non-nominated where applicable) for price & quality.
∎ Purchase order follow up made at competitive prices subject to having required quality.
∎ Ensure delivery within required deadline & follow up to update accordingly.
∎ Follow up prices, specifications & delivery dates to determine the best bid price among potential supplies.
∎ Need to make total clarification of valid demand/requirement within same day & proceed purchase order.
∎ Cross check with suppliers ahead to get on time delivery.
∎ Develop & measure key performance indicators to determine & improve the effectiveness of the procurement functions.
∎ Identify and implement innovative approach in buying process.
∎ Ensure cost effective buying and timely delivery to the respective location.
∎ Prepare & maintain updated procurement data.
∎ Prepare and submit all management report regarding procurement.
∎ Coordinate with other departments for justified material requisitions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Have clear concept of critical path management.
∎ Sound knowledge of textile properties & production process.
∎ Very good organization skill, communication skill & sense of responsibility.
∎ Have sound knowledge on Denim factory.
