Job Context:
∎ A renowned Group of Companies of the Country is looking for potential candidate as Deputy General Manager/ General Manager (Garments Quality) for its 100 % export oriented Knit Composite Garments Factory located near Mawna, Gazipur.
∎ The factory consists of 120 lines & exporting 3.5 to 4.0 million pieces knit garments in each month.
∎ Job location for the position is Mawna, Gazipur, Factory Office.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The selected candidate will be responsible to ensure quality of knit garments products in every steps of production from cutting to packing. He should be able to find out all types of faults in the garment making process, take immediate corrective actions and should set the quality norms in such a way that rejections of the garments are minimized. Major job responsibilities of the position are as follows:
∎ Making effective plan for quality assurance of the factory to ensure that quality of the garments delivered to the buyers are 100% in line with their requirement.
∎ Assuring the Quality of Knitted Garments from Cutting input till finished Products.
∎ Getting successful inspection done at various stages of Production & ensure timely shipment
∎ Supervising and Guiding Quality Team to achieve Quality Targets.
∎ Make sure that the quality personnel are aware of the quality requirement of the particular buyers and train them to maintain the needed quality requirements throughout the production processes.
∎ Plan and handle quality assurance procedure in a way that ensures minimum involvement of time, manpower and other resources while delivering the optimum quality
∎ Represent the company in buying offices to clarify quality related issues, if any
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The Candidate should have minimum 10 yrs. of experience in the quality department in Knit Garment Industry, out of which 2 yrs in DGM/GM Position.
∎ Should have proven leadership skills
∎ Candidate should be able to establish quality parameters in all segment of the department
∎ He should have the knowledge to ensure quality on each manufacturing process of garments i.e. from cutting to packing.
∎ Should be proactive, sincere, dynamic & result oriented
