Educational Requirements:

Job Context:
∎ Working in a large knit garments(Sweater) industry.
∎ Job Location: 10 Ganda, Savar, Dhaka

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and manage all the activities of assuming responsibility for production quantity, quality, cost and delivery.
∎ Develop and execute a workflow plan as per the budgeted targets and T&A to ensure that products are produced within the established time, cost control and quality standards and routinely undertake the following:
∎
∎ a. Check and run the given quality as per planning
∎ b. Attend daily meeting
∎ Check daily progress report
∎
∎ Manage the production schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and appropriate production inventory control procedures
∎ Coordinate and ensure the department's machinery and equipment are maintained to optimal levels of operation.
∎ Responsible for using set principles and operating practices to establish, maintain and improve the production process.
∎ Control operations cost within approved budgets by evaluating actual expenditures with budgeted costs, taking appropriate actions and ensure cost reduction by reducing all kinds of wastage and extra hour work.
∎ Acknowledgment of the order quantity in advance for making the production plan and to liaise with the Management and to give necessary directives to the Production Manager of the unit regarding the production plan
∎ Having a clear idea about the quality of garments and to guide his subordinates to take necessary corrective measures if there is any problem of quality so that garments can be made an exportable stage
∎ To implement price-controlled policy in every stage of production, so that production cost is reduced
∎ To make necessary arrangements of training for the subordinates in order to increase production capability by following modern production procedures.
∎ To advise the Production Manager to follow the production schedule
∎ To take responsibility during an audit by the buyer regarding compliance issues
∎ To take all necessary safety measures in connection with the production
∎ To take necessary measures with the Admin, HR & Compliance Dept. in order to uphold human rights and development of human resources
∎ To ensure the duties and responsibilities of subordinates as vested on them according to the organizational policy;
∎ To ensure proper planning to assure smooth operation within the team
∎ Arrangement of briefing, training, coordinating, controlling and taking the timely decision
∎ To take an active role while formulating the policy of the factory
∎ Any other responsibilities assigned by the management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience in guideline for production and quality section from well reputed company
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Sweater Garments
∎ Strong technical knowledge in production and quality system
∎ Good leadership ability to lead & motivate inspectors.
∎ Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame
∎ Good in planning and analytical skills
∎ Good command in both written and spoken English
∎ Hands-on PC skill with the knowledge of commonly used MS software
∎ Good inter-personal & communication skills
∎ Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented
