Educational Requirements:
∎ Advanced degree in natural resource management, zoology or biology, land management, conservation management, or a related field.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide complementary leadership and management that will support and augment that of the Chief of Party and senior technical staff.
∎ Oversee and ensure communication and integration technical work among the policy, ecosystem conservation, livelihoods, gender, and communication components of the project, and provide technical backstopping to these components as needed.
∎ Help ensure that the execution and outputs of the annual work plan and related guiding documents are aligned with the objectives, outputs, and targeted results of the project.
∎ Assist the contribution of the above components to the project's targeted outcomes and monitoring, evaluation and learning indicator targets.
∎ Identify and facilitate relationships among the above listed partners, with emphasis on identifying, leading and assuring implementation of technical collaboration with other donors and projects.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Demonstrated leadership and management experience sufficient to meet the requirements of the above stated responsibilities and overall objectives and targets of donor-funded projects similar in scope and size to Protibesh.
∎ Minimum of 5 years of experience in NRM, livelihoods development, conservation, land management, or related field.
∎ Solid understanding of processes needed to engage private sector actors to support ecosystem conservation and the generation of livelihood activities and income generation that will help protect biodiversity, wildlife, and natural resources in key biological areas.
∎ Experience in promoting gender equity and opportunities for youth and minorities to support conservation of natural resources.
∎ High level of fluency in Bangla and English.
