Job Context:
∎ Project: Anticipated USAID-funded Accelerating Reductions in Adolescent Childbearing Activity in Bangladesh
∎ Location: Based at CARE Bangladesh Dhaka Office
∎ Duration: Duration of the contract will be for five (05) years.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in international development as Deputy Chief of Party, Project Director or senior management experience on child marriage, adolescent empowerment, and/or sexual and reproductive health projects.
∎ Deep technical experience and understanding of child marriage, adolescent empowerment, SRH, and maternal and child health, and health systems strengthening programs targeting adolescents.
∎ Experience with monitoring and evaluation; ability to produce and disseminate high quality written qualitative, quantitative, and narrative deliverables.
∎ Experience managing USAID cooperative agreements and/or contracts as well as the implementation of donor priorities including localization preferred.
∎ Experience managing complex activities involving coordination with multiple program partner institutions and consortium with a range of roles and capacities.
∎ Demonstrated commitment to principles of Gender Equity, Diversity, Belonging and Inclusion with particular emphasis on youth participation and voice.
∎ Demonstrated commitment to Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Harassment (PSEAH).
∎ Experience managing required programmatic and financial reporting requirements.
∎ Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with host governments, donors, other donor-funded projects and stakeholders, local organizations, and partners.
∎ Strong oral and written communication skills; excellent demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills.
∎ Experience recruiting, developing, and managing staff and teams.
∎ Fluency in written and spoken English.
∎ Previous experience in project country and/or comparable international experience.
