Job Context:
∎ Dental Assistant is responsible for
∎ Support triage and admittance of dental care patients
∎ Assist Dentists in Day to day patient services
∎ Record keeping, inventory and EMR data entry

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The primary responsibility of the Dental Assistant is to support Dental Specialist in his/her day-to-day activities in the PHC. S/he is responsible to ensure patient records for quality dental care, assisting patients and doctors with tasks such as checking patients into the clinic, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting dentists with common procedures such as filling, extractions, root canals, cleaning, etc.
∎ Work in PHC - OPD Clinic as per schedule
∎ Preparing patients for dental care.
∎ Setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures and cases.
∎ Giving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control.
∎ Ordering dental medicine & supplies and maintaining dental inventory.
∎ Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
∎ Ensuring infection control by using sterilized and disinfected instruments regularly with caring for dental equipment’s
∎ Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
∎ Assist in referral of patient.
∎ Assist in EMR services if needed.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 23 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Experience in handling dental equipment’s
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
∎ Basic computer skills
∎ Familiar with Rohingya and Chittagong Dialect
∎ Person with disability are encouraged to apply

Salary: Tk. 62486 - 69192 (Monthly)
