Education:
Bachelor’s degree in CSE / IT / ECE or equivalent from a recognized university
Mandatory Certification: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) – Oracle Database 12c / 19c or higher
Additional skills/certifications in Oracle RAC, Oracle Exadata, or Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) are advantageous

7-10 Years dedicated experience as an Oracle DBA in a mission-critical environment
Experience in managing large-scale transactional databases in financial or banking systems
Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Guard, ASM, Flashback, RMAN, and audit compliance
Experience with Linux/Unix environments for Oracle DB deployment and scripting
Responsibilities & Context:
Administer and maintain Oracle Database (12c, 19c or later) in production and DR environments
Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database software and tools
Implement and manage Oracle Data Guard, RMAN backups, and disaster recovery solutions
Monitor and optimize performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and SQL tuning
Perform database cloning, export/import, data pump operations, and schema management
Manage tablespaces, indexes, partitions, and storage structures
Ensure database security, access control, auditing, and compliance with internal and regulatory standards
Support developers with PL/SQL procedures, query optimization, and performance diagnostics
Monitor space utilization and perform capacity planning
Maintain detailed documentation, SOPs, backup logs, and audit records
