Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including machine learning engineers, software engineers, and business stakeholders, to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
∎ Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights for driving business decisions.
∎ Build and deploy predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical models to solve complex business problems.
∎ Optimize and fine-tune machine learning models for performance and accuracy.
∎ Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate data science solutions into production systems.
∎ Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in data science, machine learning, and software engineering, and apply them to improve existing processes and methodologies.
∎ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
∎ 5-7 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
∎ Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Java.
∎ Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using libraries like pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
∎ Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries, such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
∎ Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques..
∎ Proficiency with cloud platforms specially Microsoft Azure and their data, machine learning and cognitive services.
∎ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
∎ Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
∎ Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
