Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and develop end-to-end data platform using Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Analysis Services.
∎ Build data pipelines in Azure Synapse Analytics for the Cloud Analytics platform. Design, develop, and support technical solutions for the Raw (Bronze), Enriched (Silver), and Curated (Gold) layers in the Medallion data architecture.
∎ Develop and maintain ETL processes using Shell scripting and Azure Synapse.
∎ Write and optimize complex SQL queries for relational databases, big data, and Azure Data Lake environments.
∎ Develop and implement data integration and transformation processes using Azure Synapse Analytics, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory.
∎ Design and implement data models like Star Schema and Snowflake schema.
∎ Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
∎ Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity.
∎ Stay up-to-date on the latest data engineering and Azure technologies.
∎ Job Context
∎ We are seeking a promising Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, he/she will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. The incumbent will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data infrastructure is efficient, scalable, and secure.
