∎ Job Context
∎ We are seeking a promising Data Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, he/she will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies. The incumbent will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data infrastructure is efficient, scalable, and secure.

∎ Responsibilities
∎ • Design and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions using Azure technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Analysis Services.
∎ • Build data pipelines in Azure Synapse Analytics for the Cloud Analytics platform. Design, develop, and support technical solutions for the Raw (Bronze), Enriched (Silver), and Curated (Gold) layers in the Medallion data architecture.
∎ • Develop and maintain ETL processes using Shell scripting and Azure Synapse.
∎ • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for relational databases, big data, and Azure Data Lake environments.
∎ • Design and implement data models like Star Schema and Snowflake schema.
∎ • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
∎ • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and ensure data quality and integrity.
∎ • Stay up-to-date on the latest data engineering and Azure technologies.

∎ Qualifications
∎ • M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, or a related field from a reputed university.
∎ • 5-10 years of experience in the field of data, analytics, or BI.
∎ • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
∎ • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
∎ • Expertise in developing ETL processes using Shell scripting and Azure Synapse.
∎ • Proficiency in advanced SQL and query optimization for relational databases, big data, and Azure Data Lake environments.
∎ • Knowledge of data modeling concepts such as Star Schema and Snowflake schema.
