• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in the garments industry (preferably Denim Bottoms).

• Preference will be given to candidates with 7+ years of relevant experience in denim garments.

• Must have hands-on experience with international buyers such as Kontoor, OTTO, LPP, ZARA, Bonprix, etc.

• Familiar with global brand quality standards (e.g., H&M, Inditex, Walmart, etc.).

Additional Requirements

• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Certification in ISO Quality Management or Lean Six Sigma will be an advantage.

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cutting Quality In-Charge to ensure top-level quality in the cutting department and support our overall QC/QA operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Quality Manager to maintain buyer standards, ensure compliance, and drive ongoing process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and control all quality aspects of the Cutting Department.

• Attend PP meetings and ensure all technical and quality requirements are implemented.

• Conduct random fabric inspections and check for shade variation.

• Ensure quality standards across cutting, sewing, and finishing sections.

• Maintain and analyze defect data to identify recurring issues.

• Investigate root causes of defects and apply corrective actions.

• Coordinate with QA, Production, and Merchandising teams.

• Conduct pre-final inspections before offering final buyer inspection.

• Maintain proper documentation and reports related to quality.

• Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness in the department.

• Participate in bulk inspections with QA and Factory Management teams.

Accountability

• Maintain defect percentage within acceptable limits.

• Prevent and resolve any style or quality-related mistakes.

• Handle any buyer complaints or claims regarding cutting quality.
