Education:
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
    • Master of Business Management (MBM)
  • MBA/MBM/Masters (preferably Business) from UGC approved universities having no 3rd class in academic records.

  • Candidates having professional degree/certification in credit risk management will be given preference.

  • Minimum 04 years of work experience as credit analyst in any commercial banks/ financial institution.

  • Experience to be in any private commercial banks in financial analysis, risk assessment, mitigation, credit proposal processing & portfolio management.

  • Preference will be given to candidates having MTO/PO background in commercial banks/ financial institution.

  • Candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of Bangladesh Bank’s refinance and pre-finance schemes, along with proficiency in related reporting requirement.

  • Candidates should have enthusiasm, self-motivation and strong interpersonal skill along with high level of integrity to develop career in a highly competitive and challenging environment.

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills in both Bangla and English.

Job Level: Senior Officer to First Assistant Vice President.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed credit analysis, including financial statement review, cash flow assessment, and risk evaluation to determine creditworthiness and facility structuring.

  • To access risk inherent in the credit proposal through scrutiny documents and visit and also to determine the pricing based on risks associated with the proposals.

  • Guide branches in preparing complete and accurate credit proposals; review submissions to identify and rectify deficiencies.

  • To ensure efficient and effective delivery of assigned credit proposals analyzing risk standing in line with set account strategy, risk acceptance criteria and bank`s Risk Appetite Statement.

  • Prepare, present, and process credit proposals/appraisals for Credit Committee, Executive Committee, and Board approval within defined turnaround time.

  • Ensure timely submission of renewal proposals, Board/EC memos, and reports in line with policy deadlines.

  • Recommend appropriate terms, conditions, and security arrangements to safeguard the Bank’s interest and ensure alignment with policy, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

  • Verify supporting documents, including legal, mortgage, and audited/projected financials, in coordination with relevant divisions.

  • Monitor and review account performance, portfolio quality, and client risk grading on a periodic basis; initiate remedial actions for stressed or overdue accounts.

  • Conduct site visits of clients’ business premises, warehouses, and mortgage properties as required.

  • Maintain accurate MIS, portfolio database, and systematic documentation for effective monitoring, reporting, and regulatory compliance.

  • Support preparation of sanction letters, documentation, and disbursement in coordination with the Credit Administration Division (CAD).

  • Liaise with Bangladesh Bank, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with credit-related issues and audit observations.

  • Participate in policy review, portfolio analysis, and continuous improvement of credit risk management practices.

  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor/Head of CRM/Management to support the Bank’s credit operations and asset quality.
