Job Context:
∎ IRC Bangladesh has constructed a Primary Health Care Clinic (PHCC) in Camp-11. After completion of this construction and ensuring accurate payment, we have to complete the post measurement. As our construction team was directly involved with this construction process e.g. design, BoQ, daily follow up and coordination will supplier, that why we need to involve an external engineer to assess this quality of construction. The duration of the assessment will be 8 working days including submission of final assessment report.
∎ Timeline of Assignment: 8 Working days
∎ Job location: IRC Bangladesh, Camp-11, Ukhiya

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Scope of work:
∎ The consulting firm will ensure below task (but not limited to):
∎ Post measurement of PHCC construction as per BOQ/ design and final bill submitted by contractor.
∎ Assess the quality of work and certify final payment considering actual construction work against the agreed design and BoQ and deviation if any (both in terms of quantity and quality).
∎ Prepare details assessment report with recommendation
∎ Terms:
∎ The construction engineer (consultant) will perform 08 Hours of duty per day or more if needed.
∎ Time will be during 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (8 working days but if needed more)
∎ The construction engineer (consultant) will assess the construction work of PHCC in Camp-11
∎ Job Responsibilities
∎ Assess the PHCC construction work and submit completion report
∎ Measure the actual work done against the original design and BoQ as well as work completion certificate submitted by contractor and certified by IRC’s construction supervisor
∎ Assess quality of work against the original design and BoQ as well as work completion certificate submitted by contractor and certified by IRC’s construction supervisor and subsequently determine deviation and accordingly provide rationalized recommendations with regards to final payment factoring in deviation in quantity and quality.

Additional Requirements:
∎ B.Sc Engineering - Civil
∎ At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a construction project.
∎ Interested Construction Engineer (Consultant) are requested to submit below listed documents and information to be eligible for the evaluation process for the work.

∎ 2. Details CV
∎ 3. National ID Card
∎ 4. Details price offer: need to provide a financial offer for this service work where their terms of payment need to clearly mention. Financial price offer must be - consultancy fees, travel, accommodation and meals (if based outside of Cox) etc. IRC will cover the local travel cost for travelling to camp location. inclusive of all necessary TAX/VAT as per Government Regulations.
∎ 5. Availability (Earliest start and end date)
∎ 6. Selected person need to bring & use his/her personal laptop, camera etc as required.
∎ Additional Requirements
∎ Strong working knowledge on construction
∎ Very good skill of Estimating & costing.
∎ Very good knowledge about BoQ.
∎ Good understanding on camp context.
∎ Immediate availability to undertake this assignment
