Job Context:
∎ IRC with the partnership of Concern Worldwide is going to implement a three years multi sector consortium project with financial support of Bureau of Population Refugee and Migration (BPRM) to deliver Health, Nutrition & Food Security, and Protection services for Rohingya Refugees and the vulnerable host communities in Cox`s Bazar, Bangladesh. The project aims to directly benefit over 2,44,000 people while over 67,000 people are expected to be benefitted indirectly over a period of three years.

∎ Under the technical guidance and supervision of Senior Consortium Manager-Outreach and Training, Consortium Program Officer-Community Outreach and Training will be responsible for providing support on community outreach and training activities. H/she will provide technical assistance with the implementation of the program, field visits and review of program. In addition, s/he supports PRM program planning and capacity building to all consortium partners.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Highlights of Key Responsibilities :
∎ Support to Senior Consortium Manager-Outreach & Training to organize training and facilitation.
∎ Documentation of training reports, pre and post-test assessments of training.
∎ Initiate the procurement process to organize the training and workshops.
∎ Arrange and coordinate logistics for the community engagement activities (Training/mentoring/AAP rollout/outreach visit)
∎ Co-ordinate a multi-programme setting of outreach activities, ensuring that deliverables are on track, on time and to the required quality standard.
∎ Closely working with project management, production and training team to design an outreach plan and implement effectively.
∎ Provide timely and accurate forecasting and reporting information for outreach activities and deliverables to the Training and Outreach Manager
∎ Work closely with the Training and Outreach Manager, research and other colleagues to ensure that research activities associated with outreach activities are effectively designed and embedded, as part of the research framework of the overall project.
∎ Provide advice and support to the project team in negotiation and contracting processes with partner organizations.
∎ Contribute to the design of community engagement & accountability strategies, systems and processes for use across the response.
∎ Mentor personnel from partner organizations, ensuring that they receive the support they need as they roll out community engagement and accountability activities at community level.
∎ Collect and collate shared findings and good practices from organizations and communities using community engagement content.
∎ Assist with analysis of community feedback and project data and help to prepare information products for use by partners, humanitarian agencies and sectors.
∎ Work closely with consortium partners to ensure that communication with partners is planned, coordinated and effective.
∎ Support the team to use a gender appropriate approach for the humanitarian response.
∎ Deliverables :
∎ Support to organize and conduct training programs with all consortium partners.
∎ Field visit at least 60% of the assignment time.
∎ Undertake other related duties as may reasonably be assigned by the Senior Consortium Manager-Outreach and Training.
∎ Ensure necessary logistic supports of all events.
∎ All meeting, training, workshop and other events records are properly documented.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 18 to 60 years
∎ Minimum 2 years' experience working in humanitarian/development contexts.
∎ Minimum of 2 years' experience on SBCC approach.
∎ Experience on training need assessment, module development and training facilitation.
∎ Experience of working on large scale, complex, multi-sector programmers (preferably health, nutrition, protection) in both emergency and/ fragile contexts and developing project.
∎ Experience on Accountability to Affected Population mechanism.
∎ Excellent analytical and writing skills, with proven ability to produce various reports in English language.
∎ Experience leading and managing staff.
∎ Previous experience of working in a consortium structure will be an advantage.
∎ Experience of working with US grants preferably BPRM will be an advantage.
∎ Excellent communication, and facilitation skills.
∎ Excellent problem solving skills, and demonstrated ability to handle pressure and improve.
∎ Excellent English and Bangla language communication skills, both written and verbal.
∎ Excellent command over MS office.
