Job Context:
∎ Community Outreach Team Leader will closely work in Referral Hub working area and directly supervise the Community Outreach Worker. Community Outreach Team Leader will guide and train the community outreach worker and they both will works in the community to map or listing the maternal case within working area, linkage maternal case with health facility or maternity center to ensure the periodic checkup and to keep on track to avoid delay of seeking health care needs and reaching the hospitals, community feedback and information sharing, hygiene promotion. Along with, providing assistance to the referral hubs staffs by coordinating patient referrals. Other duties include assisting in monitoring and evaluation of the community outreach program and outreach to local health care facilities.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Community Outreach Team Leader will be one of the key staff to implement community outreach activities
∎ S/he will directly guide and supervise community outreach team
∎ Frequently visit door to door with community outreach worker to map pregnant mothers in the catchment area and ensure their periodic checkup for safe motherhood by coordination and linkage them with nearest maternity center
∎ Arrange weekly session for women of reproductive age within working area to develop awareness on obstetric emergencies, danger signs, health, nutrition, hygiene etc.
∎ Periodically organizing Focus Group Discussions (FGD) or feedback sharing sessions for adolescent girls and women of reproductive age
∎ Coordinating emergency patient transport through CNG and ambulance
∎ Establishing the client responsiveness system to receive feedback on referral hub services (satisfaction surveys, field site monitoring, suggestion boxes, individual interviews, focus group discussions where all feedback/complaints are welcome by IRC) following both solicited & unsolicited approaches
∎ Arranging formal training session for community outreach workers and volunteers for capacity building
∎ Finding out service gaps challenges and reporting to Senior Officer Hub Management and Health Manager for the improvement of service quality
∎ Organize training or service briefing session for partner's health volunteers, and provide technical support for program implementation as required
∎ Keep records and maintain register books and online reporting system for outreach activities
∎ Any other duties related to the job description upon request
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 4 years of experience in health sector, preferably in complex humanitarian and/or emergency settings but not mandatory
∎ Working experience as health officer or outreach team leader or volunteer supervisor or any other supervising role will get preference
∎ People who have knowledge in Chittagogian dialect will get preference
∎ Understanding of data-collection methodologies and data analysis processes
∎ Good knowledge on computer, especially Excel & Word
∎ Previous experience with online reporting applications, especially Kobo collect is highly desirable
∎ Ability to arrange and conduct training session and focus group discussion
∎ Deeply and methodically collects, verifies and records data demonstrating attention in detail
∎ Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
∎ Strong interpersonal communication skills
∎ Conversant with Rohingya & English language
∎ Efficient time management skills
∎ Ability to work within the challenging context
∎ Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
