Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementation of the Project in target location/s 50%
∎ Responsible for all community-level activities at assigned location/s under the supervision of District Project Manager.
∎ Formation and maintenance of Youth group along with initiating their activity on climate adaptation activities.
∎ Responsible for implementing all activities at SHG, Households & Community level as a front-line staff.
∎ Selection of beneficiaries, community needs assessment and skill capacity analysis of the beneficiary
∎ Conduct Weekly meetings with Rights and Economic empowerment group
∎ Mobilize the group for saving, fund revolving, food bank & risk fund maintenance
∎ Weekly awareness session conduction
∎ Support for proper IGA operation
∎ Visioning exercise of the community time to time
∎ Link the community with different safety net program
∎ Mobilize them for group lead approach establishment
∎ Mobilize the community for group lead business & setting up social development issues.
∎ Follow up for updating the group documents & initiate them for increasing self confidence
∎ Networking with local leaders & government stakeholders
∎ Initiate the community for local lead monitoring and Safeguarding issue set up
∎ Conduct door to door surveys to finalize project participants list
∎ Supervise the participant’s identification as per fixed selection criteria and by the methodology fixed by IR.
∎ Finalize the participants by ensuring endorsement and validation from relevant authorities such as UP and Upazila administration.
∎ Ensure inclusion of gender, persons with disabilities, elderly and other vulnerable communities according to the IR Principle and guideline during participant selection and other steps of implementation.
∎ Implementation of activities assigned for.
∎ Prepare attendance sheet, muster roll and any other documents for audit compliances.
∎ Conduct post distribution monitoring (PDM) preferably using KOBO software (if required).
∎ Ensure other planned activities such as various workshops and meetings.
∎ Maintain coordination and cooperation among the team members and external stakeholders for smooth team movement and uphold organizational reputation.
∎ Ensure community mobilization.
∎ Practice and promote climate mitigations.
∎ Project intervention monitoring 20%
∎ Supervise emergency Relief/recovery/rehabilitation/Wash distribution activities at the beneficiary level if required.
∎ Supervise Project related activities especially Hygiene kits, Food, and CASH distribution at the beneficiary level.
∎ Supervise and monitor each stage of the activities. Ensure standards and instructions given by the line manager, as well as Islamic Relief Bangladesh procedures,
∎ Monitor the working progress & ensure the quality of project activities & inform the project manager e.g. maintain the community process and result monitoring.
∎ Take measures to ensure security during cash/Kind distribution.
∎ Effficient use of project assets and resources 10%
∎ Ensure that local purchases and expenditures are done as per Islamic Relief Bangladesh policy.
∎ Maintain the stock book, Inventory, and other essential registers properly and timely in an effective manner.
∎ Checking the all-bill voucher within the team and forwarded to Finance officer for necessary action.
∎ Support for the Procurement of materials like requisition, quotation collection, etc.
∎ Networking and coordination 5%
∎ Formulation of the project implementation committee.
∎ Involve Union Parishad, Upazila Parishad, Union Disaster Management Committee & other stakeholders in implementation of the project. e.g., Communicate and network with the local cooperative system
∎ Reporting and documentation 5%
∎ Prepare and submit plan and progress of activities to the line manager weekly, monthly MIS report and as per project needs:
∎ Maintain & preserve project documents such as muster roll, attendance sheet, photographs, reports
∎ Support to prepare, and generate bill vouchers and assist with financial documentation
∎ Support the team to collect media materials such as pictures, videos, case studies, etc.
∎ Facilitate donor/external visits and ensure that recommendations of visitors are addressed.
∎ Maintain the stock book, inventory, and other essential registers properly and timely in an effective manner.
∎ Support in the procurement of materials like requisition, follow-up, etc.
∎ Other Requirements 10%
∎ Participate & involve with seasonal programs (Ramadan, Qurbani, Winterization, etc.) activities.
∎ Ensure that local purchases and expenditures are done as per Islamic Relief Bangladesh policy.
∎ Maintain the stock book, inventory, and other essential registers properly and timely in an effective manner.
∎ Support in the procurement of materials like requisition, follow-up, etc.
∎ Take initiatives to ensure the security of project staff and participants during the intervention.
∎ Willing and able to travel frequently for extended periods and to remote areas of the projects.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation and as well as Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on the safeguarding of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, Fraud, Bribery & Money Laundering for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Being a member of Islamic Relief as a child-friendly organization, it is the core responsibility and obligation of each staff member to understand and obey the IR Child Protection & PSEA Policy and respond accordingly as and when required.
∎ Perform any other duties assigned by Supervisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Candidates having three years of Degree (Pass course) from any college/institution are also allowed to apply.
