Job Context:
∎ Chemonics International, Inc., a U.S.-based international development consulting firm, is seeking a Communications Manager for an anticipated USAID-funded activity that will support higher secondary education in Bangladesh.
∎ This position will be based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.
∎ Employment Status: Full-time employee with benefits.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement a comprehensive communications strategy, ensuring effective dissemination of activity achievements and impact
∎ Produce high-quality reports, as well as strategic activity and stakeholder communication products
∎ Monitor activity implementation to identify success stories, social media posts, and activity highlights

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum five years' relevant experience in journalism and/or strategic communications, with demonstrated proficiency using multiple communications formats, including social media.
∎ Ability to connect individual communications activities or products to higher-level strategies and goals.
∎ Ability to identify and prepare compelling, story-driven content about technical subjects and projects that engages target audiences and enhances the project's visibility.
∎ Experience delivering communications products for USAID or other large multi- or bilateral donor projects is preferred.
∎ Fluent written and spoken Bengali is required, as is advanced written and spoken proficiency in English.
