Educational Requirements:
∎ Completion of Bachelor degree, preferably supplemented with training in Graphic Design, computer applications and design from a recognized higher institution.
∎ University degree or Diploma in graphic design from a recognized higher institution with training in computer applications and design would be an added advantage.

Job Context:
∎ The Communications Specialist- Creative Content Service is the part of the Communications Team of World Vision Bangladesh Rohingya Crisis Response. Reporting to the Senior Manager – Communications and Advocacy, he/she serves as World Vision Bangladesh Rohingya Crisis Response’s in-house creative professional. He/she is responsible for developing consistent, audience-appropriate marketing assets, communications and creative platforms across WVB teams. He/she produces compelling and technically advanced print and video imagery assets with video/photo editing, and illustrations for the marketing, communications and Executive Office teams.
∎ The incumbent will develop creative concepts, layouts and finished assets for web, print and digital marketing. This position is responsible for ensuring excellence in graphic design and working with the WV BRCR team to produce engaging, quality, attention-grabbing desktop publications and visual contents for WV clients and stakeholders and contribute to the overall branding process and ensure those at national level. He/she is involved in the public information aspects of managing branding and/or reputational risks.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the implementation of and maintenance of existing WVB graphic guidelines.
∎ Make sure WVB quality desktop publication and design of innovative interactive products with the development of new graphic solutions; visual brand, design direction, and identity standards.
∎ Ensure the best possible functionality to quality writing and editing skills to convey technical, complex content in an easily accessible manner.
∎ Develop or manage production of visual assets for World Vision, including graphics, photography and videography with quality editing skill.
∎ Provide support during disaster response
∎ Design and manage design concepts, hands-on design and art work (including illustrations) of all print communication materials including banners, posters leaflets, Wall calendar, Desk calendar, Diary, Annual report, Newsletter, Brochure, visiting card, WVB advertisement etc. and others as per as per WVI standards.
∎ Source and collaborate with printing partners and other vendors on the production of all communication materials as needed, guiding projects through all phases of production, adhere to budgets, deadlines, and time constraints.
∎ Create and assure quality of printing specifications of WV materials requested by other departments. (Banner, Billboard, Certificate, Nametag, photo edit etc.).
∎ Provide photographic coverage of all public events organized & supported by WV.
∎ Photos and Video footages taken for support office requirements WV clients and stakeholders.
∎ Create and maintain photo library accessible to all staff to upload and download photos for presentation and reports
∎ Develop and share short case studies/transformational success stories to Support offices, WV Clients and stakeholders.
∎ Create visually compelling presentations, and support production of advocacy/marketing collateral, including info graphics, memes, videos, and photos.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 6 months diploma course on desktop publications/photography/ video or multimedia
∎ In depth knowledge and application of graphic designing software and programmes including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indexing, MS office, Quark Xpress etc.
∎ In depth Knowledge and application of multimedia software (Adobe premier/ Liquid Edition etc.) and operating professional video camera using different format (avi, mpeg1, mpeg2, wmv, PAL, NTSC etc.).
∎ In depth Knowledge and application of office software (MS PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, etc.)
∎ Experience in editing videos for print and digital content creation
∎ Attitude that is team focused with the skills and ability to work independently and collaborately among an interdepartmental collaborative environment
∎ 3 years working experience in the handling of development –sector related graphic design for any other international organizations.
∎ Experience in photography, video shooting and editing, multimedia production
∎ Experience in data collection, analysis and use of child-focused information to produce behavioural change communication products
