Job Context:
∎ Communication Intern will work under the supervision of the Head of Advocacy and Communication. The Intern will be assisting Advocacy and Communication team to write annual report 2021 and story writing, visiting IRC’s program area in the Rohingya refugee camps and host communities. S/he will come up with relevant content including story, quotes and photos which will be added in the Annual report’21. This internship is a great opportunity to gain professional experience in a multi-cultural, social service setting
∎ Work Locations: IRC Dhaka office with occasional visit to Cox’s Bazar and Ukhiya Office
∎ Duration: 3 Months
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop an outline for the Annual report’ 21.
∎ Work closely with the Advocacy and Communication Specialist and produce the Annual Report 2021.
∎ Work with MEAL team and Visit Rohingya refugee camp & surrounding host community area and collect impact stories to use in the Annual report and at the same time in website, social media, and other external platforms
∎ Produce an internship closing report and share with respective supervisor.
∎ Provide ad-hoc basis day to day support under the guidance of the supervisor.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Graduation on English, communication (including design and publication)/ Masters on same subject will be preferred
∎ Comfortable working with diverse populations and humanitarian crisis
∎ Previous experience working with vulnerable populations preferred, but not required.
∎ Excellent writing skills in English language
∎ Experience in report writing and editing
