Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall management of the center
∎ Monitor activities and supervise the work of supervisee staff and provide on-site technical assistance (hands on training)
∎ Ensure overall cleanliness of the center
∎ Assist contribute in developing and or introducing QA system for providing quality services to the clients
∎ Develop and implement a strategy to reach the poor and involve the community in the management of the clinic
∎ Ensure all other systems are in place and well- functioning, e.g., management information, personnel management, logistics management, financial management etc.
∎ Closely work with the Project Manager and other key staff for smooth running of the center
∎ Organize monthly management and technical staff meeting to review the progress in reaching the contract conditions and identify potential problems and develop actions for further improvements
∎ Coordinate with other service providers to I establish functional linkages and referral system.
∎ Be familiar with ESD+ Services and remain up dated and keep staff up to date and be responsible for delivery of designated ESP services according to specific protocols;
∎ Ensure documentation of services Conduct normal deliveries and supervise/assist the nurse in managing the newborn. Conduct/assist in LUCS Operations,
∎ Implement nutrition interventions according to norms, standards and protocols, e.g. growth monitoring, screening, identification and treatment for SAM; referral of identified cases, etc.,
∎ Ensure registration, clinical examination and documentation of mother for ante-natal and post- natal care Examine and identify risk pregnancies and their effective referral following developed guidelines.
∎ Provide services in line with the guidelines developed under Quality of Care system taking account of technical competence and clients' needs. Assist nurses in ensuring that they perform they are responsibility efficiently.
∎ Provide on the job training to clinic Nurses, Paramedic/ Midwife. Help to identify training needs of Nurses, Paramedic/ Midwife.
∎ Assess the need for drugs and instruments/equipment and assist CHRCC Manager in their procurement. Ensure proper recording of client information and filing in appropriate places.
∎ In case of complications record in a register book and monitor the clients.
∎ Notify if any sudden increase of any complications to PM's office In case of any emergency, immediately notify PM's office and take steps as suggested by them.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Experience in urban health programming will be an added advantage for this position.
∎ 5 years' experience as a practicing physician.
∎ Skills Required: Surgical Nursing
∎ Conduct normal deliveries and supervise/assist nurse in managing the newborn.
