The position will be responsible to do necessary pathological investigation of the patients coming to health centres and provides proper documentation and report based on lab test.
Collects sample and performs lab test maintaining standard and proper documentation.
Take responsibility for inpatients/ emergency patients to perform any lab test after hours and on weekends (or whenever necessary) if and when required.
Be alert and inform the Medical Officer and/or concerned team of any notifiable diseases, outbreaks or other health hazards
Maintain proper register for reagent/ logistics and raise requisition for these.
Ensure timely and correctly reporting of all activities.
Safeguarding
Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
