  • Certification in e-Tendering (NIC, GePNIC).
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts, CPWD manuals, or state PWD codes.
  • Experience in infrastructure projects (roads, buildings, water supply).


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary

We seek a detail-oriented “Civil Diploma Engineer” with expertise in e-Government Procurement (e-GP), Limited mTender Module (LTM), Online Tender Module (OTM), Bill of Quantities (BOQ) preparation, and project cost calculations. You will lead tender documentation, cost estimation, and compliance for government/private infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in bids.

Key Responsibilities

Tender Management:

  • Prepare, review, and submit bids via *e-GP portals* (LTM, OTM, CPP, GePNIC, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with tender notices, eligibility criteria, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for tender requirements.

BOQ & Cost Estimation:

  • Prepare detailed *BOQs* from drawings, specifications, and site data.
  • Conduct *rate analysis*, material costing, labour calculations, and project budgeting.
  • Validate quantities using AutoCAD/measurement software and cross-check project estimates.

Project Calculations:

  • Perform structural/civil calculations (concrete, steel, earthwork, utilities).
  • Analyze project risks, resource allocation, and timelines for tender feasibility.
  • Support post-tender negotiations, contract finalization, and project handover.

Documentation & Compliance:

  • Manage technical bids, EMD, performance guarantees, and statutory documents.
  • Maintain tender logs, databases, and track submission deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to CPWD, FIDIC, or client-specific standards.

Collaboration:

  • Liaise with design, procurement, and site teams for accurate input.
  • Train junior engineers on e-tendering tools and BOQ best practices.
