Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg)
∎ Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: CIVIL ENGINEER
Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The candidate should understand basic Civil Engineering functions like Civil drawing, Site preparation, Construction plans (Ground leveling, Sand filling Concrete foundation and Finishing work) & other works schedule by complying with the guidelines of BNBC and RSC code in building permits, environment regulations, Sanitary design and Safety Regulations on the whole Project.
∎ The candidate must be able to oversee the Construction Project on-site as a Site Engineer from start to finish and able to manage all paperwork, Work Schedule, Site Management, Labor Management, Equipment and Materials Requirement and Constructions Management including work progress.
∎ Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and arrange calls/meetings on regular basis with CPIO, Consultants, Project Engineers & contractors to supervise and consult about overall project planning, progress, and Completion of the Project as per schedule.
∎ Keep up-to-date record of Design/ Drawings, Contract Documents, Cost sheets, Work Orders for contractors, Approved layout, reports like soil test, rebar test, concrete test, survey documents, etc.
∎ Maintain proper record of Bill of Quantity (BOQ), Bill of Materials (BOM), labor quantities, daily conveyances, materials consumption, and optional works like dismantling/ breaking, additional works, etc. in a cost effective way.
∎ Take necessary action for rectifications/ modifications/retrofitting's works as and when necessary.
∎ Coordinate with the Suppliers and Procurement department to have uninterrupted supply of materials.
∎ Sound knowledge of Engineering software particularly in computer Aided Design, Auto Cad etc.
