∎ Since 2017, IRC has supported Rohingya Refugees and Bangladeshi nationalities communities in Cox's Bazar, Khulna, Barisal, and Chittagong with integrated services. The organization also addresses climate change impacts by building resilience and promoting economic recovery, education, and protection.
∎ The position will establish and enhance the "Strengthening Child Rights Monitoring Mechanism (CRMM)" project across 15 camps in Ukhiya and Teknaf upazilas of Cox’s Bazar district. The Child Protection Manager will strengthen the case identification process, ensuring cases are properly verified, documented, and reported in alignment with project requirements. Additionally, the manager will ensure the seamless implementation of Child Rights Monitoring Mechanism interventions across project locations.
∎ Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of the "Strengthening Child Rights Monitoring Mechanism (CRMM)" project interventions in accordance with IRC guidelines, work plans, and project timelines.
∎ Develop and enhance the process for identifying cases of child rights violations, ensuring incidents are verified, documented, reported appropriately, and that timely support is provided through direct services or referrals.
∎ Analyze critical child rights violence cases while consistently monitoring field situations to address child rights issues, conducting impact analyses, and reporting findings. Facilitate capacity building for project staff, frontline workers, and various stakeholders,
∎ while promoting awareness of child rights in the designated working areas.
