Additional Requirements:
- Age 35 to 52 years
Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics/Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 15 years of experience in diversified industries with at least 5 years in a Group-level or Chief Supply Chain Officer role.
Cross-sector experience in industries such as Cement, Steel, FMCG, Pharma, Agro, Maritime, Aviation, Real Estate, and ICT is strongly preferred.
MNC experience like Global sourcing and logistics experience, including international vendor management.
Responsibilities & Context:
Develop and execute a unified supply chain strategy aligned with corporate goals; champion digital transformation through ERP, S&OP, WMS, and TMS platforms.
Drive operational agility and supply resilience across diverse industries, ensuring scalable and adaptive supply chain models.
Lead centralized and category-based sourcing for raw materials and CAPEX, manage global supplier relationships, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Oversee multi-modal logistics (road, air, sea) across business units including freight, maritime, and last-mile delivery for FMCG, pharma, and diagnostics.
Ensure efficient customs clearance, adherence to global trade regulations, and smooth cross-border logistics operations.
Lead IBP and S&OP processes, establishing robust forecasting and inventory control systems across perishable, finished, and capital goods categories.
Optimize warehousing footprint and cold chain logistics; improve DIO, fill rates, and inventory turnover across group entities.
Deploy integrated supply chain systems and analytics tools to enhance visibility, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team, foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Build capability and succession programs to develop the next generation of supply chain leaders within the organization.
