Job Responsibilities
To supervise and coordinate daily security operations across the premises
To ensure security personnel are deployed effectively
To oversee security technologies (CCTV, access control, alarms).
To maintain up-to-date security policies, SOPs, and documentation.
To create and lead the security plan.
To serve as a liaison to law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and emergency responders.
To conduct regular risk assessments to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
To act as Incident Commander or key advisor during critical events.
To collaborate with departments like Admin, IT, legal, HR, and student services.
To engage the campus/community on safety education and communication.
To ensure secure and safe environments for all
To monitor high-risk areas regularly
To provide security at student events and large gatherings.
To protect intellectual property, laboratories, and restricted research areas.
To ensure accurate crime reporting and transparency
To monitor and evaluate the performance of security staff.
To conduct briefings and assign duties and schedules.
To respond quickly to emergencies, alarms, or incidents.
To conduct or support investigations into security breaches or incidents.
To prepare detailed incident and accident reports.
To manage security equipment and inventory.
To assist in planning for large events or high-security operations.
To ensure guards are in proper uniform and maintain discipline.
To execute any other assignment as and when required by the competent authority.
