Role Overview:

One of the largest automobile business conglomerates in Bangladesh is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Chief Operating Officer– Passenger Car. This leadership role demands exceptional sales performance combined with strong top-line management capabilities to effectively lead dealership sales operations, including both variable and fixed functions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving long-term growth, profitability, and sustainability across the passenger car business while strengthening the dealer and customer network nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets for all passenger car products.

  • Break down and distribute targets across regions, dealerships, teams, and individual sales executives.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor sales strategies and roadmaps to ensure achievement of monthly and annual goals.

  • Forecast dealership sales objectives and performance on a monthly and yearly basis.

Team Management & Performance

  • Supervise and guide the sales team to ensure individual and departmental targets are consistently met or exceeded.

  • Coach sales teams on effective selling and closing techniques through training, mentoring, and hands-on involvement.

  • Mentor both new and experienced sales professionals on best practices to enhance productivity and profitability.

  • Lead teams with a strong focus on accountability, motivation, and continuous performance improvement.

Business Development & Network Expansion

  • Work closely with retail and corporate customers to build long-term relationships and refine the sales process.

  • Build strong customer rapport to create a sustainable referral-based customer network.

  • Contribute to the expansion and development of the dealer network, including new showroom initiatives.

  • Lead and oversee all showroom activities while maintaining expert-level product knowledge.

Operations & Profitability

  • Oversee and manage all sales-related operational aspects of the dealership to achieve volume and financial targets.

  • Analyze business performance to identify gaps, shortfalls, and growth opportunities.

  • Develop and execute corrective action plans to improve sales effectiveness and profitability.

Customer Experience & Quality

  • Ensure consistently high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores across all dealerships.

  • Analyze customer feedback and satisfaction metrics to identify improvement areas.

  • Guarantee a premium delivery experience, including customer introduction to the service department and scheduling of the first service appointment.
