Job Context:
∎ The COO will be the number one position of the unit. He must implement innovative Production, Planning, Cost minimization, Financial/Accounts, whole administration, Compliance, as well as utility system and responsible for the 100% operation`s of the business unit. The COO is a key member of the senior management, reporting only to the Board of Directors. You`ll have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader with excellent people skills, business acumen and exemplary work ethics. The goal of the COO position is to improve effectiveness and efficiency of business operations for driving aggressive and sustainable growth.
∎ The Candidate should have at least 15 - 20 years experience in RMG sector and must have worked in similar position for 5 years.

∎ Job Location: Maona Sreepur, 50 kilometers north from Dhaka Airport.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ A COO for 100% Knit Composite garments (RMG) and textile business to work closely with the organization to achieve strategic plan in the industry and expand the groups business and profitability.
∎ Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
∎ Manage existing executive team and build up an operations team.
∎ Work closely with the Board of Director's and other key members of senior management to develop and deliver strategic plans and goals, and identify risks, mitigating factors and potential opportunities for the future
∎ He will be holding number one position in the business unit and work with Management team to execute the company's business plan, overall strategy and vision of the group.
∎ Build a strong culture of accountability and teamwork among employees.
∎ Ensure operational excellence by spearheading the development, communication and implementation of best in class strategies and processes in the areas of forecasting and planning, production, sourcing and logistics
∎ In conjunction with the Board of Director's and develop the company's Annual Operating Plan/Budget including details of projected results, strategies to achieve them, timelines, risks and resources
∎ Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and resources designed to accommodate rapid profitable growth and create maximum long-term enterprise value.
∎ Establish and measure key operational performance indicators for the organization and adjust operational tactics to achieve agreed upon performance goals.
∎ Define monthly reporting requirements for all Operations functions and provide timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the company.
∎ Develop quality control systems and processes to deliver optimal performance in all operational areas including production, sourcing and logistics.
∎ Candidate must have the mentality to stay in the factory at the highest-rated residence of the unit for at least 02/03 days in a week.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 40 to 52 years

∎ Sound knowledge of the country labor law.
∎ Be capable to formulate and implement relevant policies.
∎ Demonstrating discretion, confidentiality, diplomacy, integrity, honesty and openness.
∎ Good people skills, communicating and listening and able to build a team who can provide the administrative services required.
∎ Able to demonstrate a systematic and common sense approach in order to effectively play the designated role.
∎ Forward thinking in how administrative standards can be met and improved given the commercial pressures of manufacturing environment.
∎ Advanced knowledge of IT i.e. Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and Internet is a must.
∎ Demonstrating the desire for long term commitment to the job and enterprise.
∎ Strong in written and spoken English is highly required.
∎ Result oriented, ability to multi task, handle and bring issue to closer.
∎ Experience running an organization with a profit motive.
∎ Excellent communication & presentation skills.
∎ People management skills a must.
∎ Proven track record in recruiting employees and growing a business.
∎ Adapt to changes in the work environment and manage competing demands
∎ Work collaboratively with team members at all levels.
∎ Communicate clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations.
∎ Willing to travel when necessary.
