Job Context:
∎ We are newly established green plant - world class Denim manufacturing plant @ Chittagong.
∎ Location: Comilla Export Processing Zone.
∎ Reporting Authority Managing director
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide inputs for preparation of annual business plan
∎ Develop operations policies; setup SOPs & ensure compliance. Take necessary corrective actions to realize plans as per budget.
∎ Measures effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes both internally and externally;
∎ continually finds ways to improve processes
∎ Develops and implements growth strategies
∎ Oversee rigorous cost control by regularly tracking 'estimates to complete' costs; take necessary corrective actions to realize final costing as per budget
∎ Ensure budgeted Inventory Cost to Revenue ratio besides driving efficiencies such as design to cost & standardization achieving faster design turnaround
∎ Drive formulation and adherence to quality assurance (QA) plan; bring in industry best practices to enhance quality delivering superior product
∎ To benchmark best practices & apply established methodology of continuous Improvement in Operations.
∎ Develop and implement risk management policy coupled with updating senior management on all critical issues and risk mitigation
∎ Planning for Machines, Material, Money & Men for operations besides building a strong succession pipeline and ensure adequate manning at each level
∎ Oversee the performance management process for the reporting departments through use of system generated MIS and dashboards.
∎ Chair operational review meetings to monitor progress and take corrective actions as required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Extensive leadership and management of teams and individuals
∎ Expertise knowledge in Denim
∎ Deep analytical expertise, including financial
∎ 5 years of experience as an operator in a similar capacity
∎ Sri Lankans and Indians preferred
