The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for driving the overall marketing strategy, global business development, and customer relationship management of the company’s knitwear business.
The role will oversee the entire commercial, design, and brand development function, focusing on premium customer segments, innovation-driven design & product development, and profitable market expansion in the UK and European apparel markets.
Formulate and execute a comprehensive marketing and business growth strategy aligned with the organization’s long-term vision.
Develop and implement a 3–5 year strategic roadmap to enhance brand positioning, customer mix, and profitability.
Identify and explore new market opportunities, particularly within premium and mid-premium global apparel brands.
Lead the creation of differentiated product portfolios through innovation, fabric development, and design excellence.
Drive new customer acquisition while maintaining strong, enduring relationships with existing key buyers and brands.
Represent the company in international trade shows, exhibitions, and buyer meetings to expand market reach.
Lead negotiations on pricing, order terms, and business contracts to secure sustainable profitability.
Ensure seamless communication and service excellence to strengthen customer trust and loyalty.
Oversee the Merchandising, Design, and Development teams to ensure creativity and market responsiveness.
Align design strategy with emerging fashion trends, seasonal collections, and customer preferences.
Integrate efforts between fabric, print, embroidery, and garment production teams for on-time delivery and product quality.
Promote innovation-led product development with strong collaboration between R&D, production, and marketing.
Collaborate with the COO and CFO to develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability.
Monitor sales performance, cost structures, and revenue forecasts across all business units.
Analyze market trends, margins, and customer portfolios to optimize business decisions.
Ensure operational efficiency and financial discipline within the marketing and merchandising departments.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing and merchandising team.
Set KPIs and performance metrics aligned with business goals and individual accountability.
Foster a results-driven, collaborative culture emphasizing innovation, ownership, and professional growth.
