Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and direct activities congenial to productivity of the entire production unit of
∎ denim (dyeing, warping, weaving, finishing, production planning & control, PIS, QC &
∎ R&D) by
∎ Ensuring optimum utilization of man, machine & material to yield higher
∎ productivity,
∎ Analyze, control and reduce cost and wastage in an effective and efficient manner.
∎ Establish and maintain operational guidelines, procedures and practices.
∎ Monitor operational performance and improve existing performance through process
∎ and technology improvement as well as facilitate procurement of compatible
∎ equipment and machinery.
∎ Ensure product design and development and related R&D activities as per the customer
∎ requirements and facilitate marketing department in doing so.
∎ Manage work in progress costing and quality and provide required customer service.
∎ Prepare and monitor budget to achieve goals in line with company plans/goals.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, disciplinary matters, training needs and their career
∎ development plans
∎ Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace to ensure zero NC.
∎ Responsible for reporting all production related information in prescribed formats
∎ within given period and deadlines (production report, yarn stock report, production
∎ summery, mis report, operation wise test report etc.), as well as other reports relating
∎ to cost, wastage, maintenance, consumption, monthly stock, people, quality and safety
∎ for effective decision making by management.
∎ Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures,
∎ conferring with the Company policies.
∎ Determine staffing requirements, involve in interview for hiring and training new
∎ employees, or oversee those HR processes.
∎ Plan and direct activities such as coordinating with other department heads as required.
∎ Ensure and maintain safe, clean and tidy production floor.
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 55 years
∎ Good command in communications both spoken and written (Bengali and English).
∎ Ethical stance and result oriented mindset for assigned responsibilities.
∎ Strong analytical, technical and working ability.
