Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ B.Sc. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering will be preferable
∎ Skills Required: Being computer literate, Knowledge on chemical
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Garments Washing Plant
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Check chemicals availability as per production plan & ensure required chemicals on time.
∎ Prepare monthly requisition for the requirement of chemical items & services.
∎ Follow up Chemicals MSDS, Labeling, Secondary containment, Palate, and access control displayed in the storage areas.
∎ Take overall responsibility for all day to day activity of the store including stock receipt, stock issue& record maintenance.
∎ Maintain FIFO (First in First out).
∎ Prepare chemical inventory and do recording all inventory related transactions in ERP.
∎ Ensures the stores are well maintained and kept clean.
∎ Manage proper disposal of waste chemicals/remaining chemicals from the factory by keeping records.
∎ Receive store materials from local, foreign suppliers and any other sources as per LC/purchase approved document.
∎ Follow up material distribution as per consumption and make use of BIN Cards for all Chemicals in the store.
∎ Ensure that Hazardous & non Hazardous chemicals are properly segregated and stored separately as per compatibility chart.
∎ Conduct monthly 100% physical counting of inventory and make report to the management
∎ Make sure PPEs are used while handling chemicals by all related persons.
∎ Grow health awareness among the vulnerable workers regarding chemicals.
∎ Maintain and control Chemical Safety Management related documents, policies and including buyers special instruction/ requirements.
∎ Perform any other job assigned by the Management
