Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
∎ • Develop financial and tax strategies
∎ • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
∎ • Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company's strategic direction
∎ • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
∎ • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
∎ • Manage the accounting, commercial, legal, tax, and other related departments/ sections
∎ • Oversee the financial operations of all companies under the group
∎ • Oversee the company's transaction processing systems
∎ • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
∎ • Arrange for debt financing and equity financing
∎ • Plan, oversee and monitor fund management status of the group for six months in advance considering the export value and order volume in hand
∎ • Do foreign currency rate negotiation with the scheduled banks, as and when required
∎ • Perform all formalities/ duties in respect of project financing
∎ • Monitor all types of Back-to-Back L/C opening activities within the planned budget and follow related payment status
∎ • Monitor/ reconcile all types of Bank interest rate to be deducted on various ground.
∎ • Coordinate with the commercial manager and concerned merchandiser in connection with on-time document submission to ensure timely arrangement of required fund for payment of Salary & Wages for the employees by 15th day of every previous months.
∎ • Lead a team and monitor them to get the best performance in an efficient way.
∎ • Maintain a strong liaison with the high officials of the bank and other Govt. entities as required.
∎ • Oversee the issuance of financial information
∎ • Personally review and approve all transactions with prior intimation to the Managing Director
∎ • Report financial results to the board of directors
∎ • Remain responsible for all types of sanction, renewal, enhancement, and maintenance of Banking and other non-Banking financial exposure.
∎ • Remain responsible for closely monitoring the preparation of Accounts, Financing and commercial statements with Banks.
∎ • Coordinate and monitor day to day accounting and financing works of each unit.
∎ • Handle daily operational matters in an accurate and timely manner.
∎ • Ensure that all the financial transactions are properly accounted for.
∎ • Make sure the source of funds is ready for payment of Salary and others, every month.
∎ • Provide various statements/reports as per the requirement of the management.
∎ • Ensure bank reconciliation of each unit.
∎ • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile
∎ • Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
∎ • Construct and monitor reliable control systems
∎ • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
∎ • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
∎ • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
∎ • Report risk issues to the the board of directors
∎ • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
