∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting, Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee daily accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and payroll processing.·
∎ Manage daily fund plans to support operational needs.
∎ Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.·
∎ Reconcile bank statements, sales records, production, and inventory data regularly to maintain accurate financial records.·
∎ Generate and review financial reports for management, comparing monthly and year-to-year performance metrics.
∎ Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecast reports for the factory.·
∎ Monitor expenses to ensure they align with the budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.·
∎ Review production costs, analyze variances, and work with the production team to enhance cost efficiency.
∎ Ensure adherence to company policies, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
∎ Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audits and support audit-related documentation.
∎ Manage employee records, attendance, and payroll processing in coordination with the HR department.·
∎ Support recruitment and onboarding processes for factory staff, including orientation and training.·
∎ Assist with employee engagement activities and promote a positive work culture within the factory.
∎ Monitor and manage stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to ensure smooth production.·
∎ Keep records of fixed assets within the factory, ensuring regular maintenance and tracking of asset utilization.
∎ Oversee administrative functions such as utilities, transportation, security, and facility maintenance to ensure the factory’s operational readiness.·
∎ Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to maintain smooth factory operations.·
∎ Ensure that factory operations comply with local labor laws, health and safety standards, and environmental regulations.·
∎ Support factory safety initiatives, including training, safety audits, and implementing corrective actions when needed.Additional Responsibilities·
∎ Prepare performance reports and participate in monthly management meetings to present accounting, HR, and administrative updates.·
∎ Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving production efficiency and factory management.Handle any other duties as assigned by the Factory Manager or Head of Finance.
