Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Uttaran is the host organisation of the Consortium invites applications for the vacant position titled- Finance for Secretariat
∎ Reports to: Coordinator Finance & Accounts, Uttaran
∎ Financial Management and Oversight
∎ Manage day-to-day financial operations for the consortium, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and budgeting.
∎ Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with donor and organizational policies.
∎ Review and approve financial transactions, ensuring adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.
∎ Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring alignment with the work plan and financial guidelines.
∎ Compliance and Audit
∎ Ensure compliance with financial, statutory, and donor regulations specific to the Finance for Secretariat
∎ Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address findings.
∎ Regularly review and recommend updates to financial policies to ensure compliance and transparency.
∎ Planning and Reporting
∎ Develop and share monthly, quarterly, and annual financial plans and reports for the project.
∎ Maintain detailed financial records for donor reporting and organizational requirements.
∎ Support project teams in financial planning, forecasting, and expense monitoring.
∎ Capacity Building and Support
∎ Build the capacity of project and field staff in financial management and compliance.
∎ Provide guidance on budget utilisation and expense tracking to ensure efficient use of resources.
∎ Coordination and Liaison
∎ Collaborate with consortium stakeholders, including partners and donors, to ensure smooth financial operations.
∎ Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies as needed for the project.
∎ Other Responsibilities
∎ Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies for the project.
∎ Support organisational and project initiatives as required.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary: Starting from 101,150.00 BDTk. Increment, bonus and others as per project design. (Actual Salary is depending as per currency rate gain/loss)
