1. Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee daily accounting operations and bookkeeping.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accurate recording of transactions in accounting systems.
Monitor cash flow and working capital.
Prepare management reports for decision-making.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Track budget performance and analyze variances.
Support management in financial planning.
3. Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT/GST, and statutory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Maintain proper financial records and documentation.
Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.
4. Taxation & Regulatory Filings
Prepare and submit tax returns, VAT, withholding tax, and other regulatory filings.
Ensure timely payment of government dues.
Liaise with tax authorities when required.
5. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Supervise invoicing, collections, and credit control.
Manage supplier payments and reconciliations.
Monitor overdue receivables and follow up for collection.
6. Banking & Treasury
Manage banking relationships and transactions.
Handle reconciliations of bank statements.
Support loan documentation and credit facilities.
Oversee POS/QR and payment gateway settlements if applicable.
7. Team Leadership
Supervise and train accounting staff.
Allocate tasks and review team output.
Improve processes and efficiency within the finance department.
8. Systems & Process Improvement
Maintain accounting software and ERP systems.
Recommend improvements to accounting procedures.
Support digital transformation in finance operations.
9. Business Support
Provide financial insights to management.
Assist in pricing, cost control, and profitability analysis.
Support strategic decisions with financial data.
10. Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain organized financial records and backups.
Ensure proper filing of contracts, invoices, and vouchers.
