  • Strategic, commercially minded, and adept at market analysis and business planning.

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Center Manager, Senior Principal Officer (SPO) to First Assistant Vice President (FAVP), SME Banking
  • Prime Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the SME business portfolio within the assigned cluster to achieve business targets and ensure sustainable growth.
  • Identify new market opportunities, industry segments, and verticals for SME credit, deposit, and trade-related products.
  • Supervise and mentor Business Acquisition Officers (BAOs) to deliver strong business results and maintain high portfolio quality.
  • Conduct strategic client visits and meetings with key SME clients and prospects; review and approve credit proposals in line with bank policy.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, ensure timely remediation of deteriorating accounts, and uphold asset quality standards.
  • Drive deposit mobilization and cross-sell liability, trade, and non-funded products to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory standards, AML or KYC requirements, and audit guidelines.
  • Prepare periodic business reviews and market insights for senior management, providing data-driven recommendations.
