Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Deliver quality customer service to all guests.
∎ Take reservations and enquire purpose of visit.
∎ Greet each guest promptly and courteously with good smile and body language.
∎ Present menu and share promotions, specials and items to customers.
∎
∎ Take food and beverage orders, repeat orders to guests and inform guest of estimated time to serve.
∎ Oversee a team of servers who are assigned to his/her shift.
∎ Key orders in the Point-of-Sale system efficiently.
∎ Greet and escort customers to their tables
∎ Present menu and provide detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients or potential food allergies)
∎ Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses
∎ Inform customers about the day's specials
∎ Offer menu recommendations upon request
∎ Up-sell additional products when appropriate
∎ Providing excellent wait service to ensure satisfaction
∎ Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages
∎ Making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information with restaurant patrons
∎ Process payment and check bills promptly.
