Job Context:
∎ JAAGO Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Campaign Officer for the BIJOYEE project focused on Positive Youth Development (PYD) in partnership with CARE supported by USAID. This project is a multi-partners project and is expected to be a five-year program that aims to empower young people in Bangladesh to achieve their full potential through life skills training and employment opportunities, and to increase civic awareness and resilience to anti-democratic and violent extremist values among youth; strengthen youth participation in community improvements and decision-making processes; and improve the marketability and employability of youth to connect them to sustainable livelihoods and income generating opportunities.
∎ This position will be based at the Hub office. It will assist in developing campaign strategies, creating campaign materials, coordinating campaign events and engaging with stakeholders, managing campaign timelines, and tracking campaign progress in selected/eight divisions.
∎ S/he will support and assist the YLO Development and Advocacy Manager in developing campaign strategies, developing campaign materials, and coordinating campaign events. S/he will also conduct research, identify critical issues, influence policies and public opinion, and engage stakeholders to coordinate messaging and communication efforts.
∎ S/he will also report the monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly project progress to the line supervisor following the compliance of USAID and CARE to implement the project as per the Details Implementation Plan (DIP). S/he will represent the JAAGO Foundation during high official field visits, project coordination workshops, etc.
∎ S/he will be responsible for all aspects of project implementation as per the Details implementation Plan (DIP) including program quality, evidence generation, and management of direct reports, and will also promote learning and innovation by adapting tools and systems, promoting data-driven, evidence-based actions, and building capacity to work in new ways.
∎ Qualified candidate with experience of USAID and other donor-funded project at national and international organization is encouraged to apply.
∎ The position will be based in Dhaka south/Chittagong Hub office for the Cox`s Bazar, Narayangangh, Munshigangh, Khagrachari, and Bandarban district. It will require moving to project field locations as per the requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the YLO Development and Advocacy Manager to ensure key policy and advocacy issues are adequately addressed in program implementation, and dialogues with external stakeholders ensure that the advocacy strategy is rolled out.
∎ Facilitation of community mobilization, advocacy, training, enhancing youth participation, and supporting the demands and rights of young people to facilitate program design and implementation.
∎ Execute responsibility for oversight of advocacy activities with monitoring technical soundness and reporting.
∎ Coordination with the YLO Development and Advocacy Manager at the Hub-field office for smoothly implementing the advocacy activities.
∎ Assisting in developing campaign strategies, creating campaign materials, coordinating campaign events engaging with stakeholders, etc.
∎ Managing campaign timelines, and tracking campaign progress in selected districts and divisions.
∎ S/he will represent the JAAGO Foundation Trust at different levels of meetings including NGO and GoB in coordination with higher management of the JAAGO Foundation Trust.
∎ Critical responsibility for coordinating with the MEAL team during the baseline, end-line survey, mid-term evaluation and final evaluation of the BIYA project,
∎ Ensure that guidance and learning for Youth, and Girl's empowerment program related to YDP's approach is applied for the implementation and design of operational strategies
∎ Ensure that project leverages all opportunities to contribute to BIYA's broader program goals
∎ Create an enabling working environment that encourages open and honest communication, between all levels of personnel, based on mutual respect within the spirit of JAAGO's core values.
∎ Ensure that the project deliveries are achieved on time
∎ Ensure positive youth development approaches are embedded in all activities
∎ Contribute and ensure the donor reporting monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly and yearly as required.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Experience of USAID and other donor-funded projects at national and international organizations specially youth development program.
∎ Proven leadership skills in building and managing cooperative, high-level relationships and motivating diverse teams.
∎ Experience in implementing advocacy initiatives to mobilize stakeholders, enhancing youth leadership skills, providing guidance and assistance, and designing and implementing capacity-building programs.
∎ Facilitation experiences the Youth Led organizations (YLOs), and community organizations, enhance youth participation, and support the demands and rights of young people to facilitate program design and implementation.
∎ Extensive experience in capacity building development particularly related to youth in Bangladesh.
∎ Demonstrate ability to collaborate across projects, be flexible, and creative and successfully lead an intercultural team in development and post-conflict contexts.
∎ Create an enabling working environment that encourages open and honest communication between all personnel levels based on mutual respect within the spirit of JAAGO's core values.
∎ Ability to communicate effectively, instilling trust and confidence.
∎ Excellent interpersonal written and oral presentation skills in English and Bengali.
∎ Knowledge and understanding of USAID rules and regulations.
∎ Knowledge of Government Policy Priorities on Women and Youth Development
∎ Experience of working under the consortium / multiparters is preferred.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
∎ Should have good understanding of MS Office applications.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel as required.

Salary: Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
