Experience:
Master’s Degree in any relevant subject (Preferred Social Science/Public Relations/Political Science/Project Management) with 3 years experience
Bachelor`s Degree in any relevant subject with 4 years of experience
At least 5 years of experience in humanitarian and/or development organizations in managerial position.
Strong knowledge of protection issues, CCCM, human rights, DRR, and resilience
Familiarity with field operations and camp-level program implementation.
Capable of making timely decisions, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Gender-sensitive and knowledgeable about humanitarian principles and a Human Rights-Based Approach.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate with field teams, local authorities, and local communities.
Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as well as the ability to plan, take initiative and organize work independently.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Comfortable working in refugee camp settings and spending majority of time in the field
Comfortable working in a cross-cultural environment
Key roles and responsibilities:
Project Implementation: Camp Coordination and Management
Serve as the primary focal point for activities and issues at the camp level.
Establish effective internal coordination mechanisms and participate in inter-camp coordination efforts.
Identify, analyze, and prioritize needs to address gaps and avoid service duplication.
Develop and maintain a camp information management system, ensuring confidential and appropriate information sharing.
Advocate for the legitimate needs of the camp population with authorities and service providers.
Facilitate communication between the camp population and humanitarian actors.
Strengthen collaboration with local authorities, institutions, and other stakeholders.
Establish a transparent, representative camp governance system to coordinate services and activities.
Promote inclusive participation of women, children, elderly, and vulnerable groups in governance and decision-making processes.
