  • At least 2 year of experience as a cafe supervisor or senior waiter in a food service environment

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask

  • Good understanding of café operations, food hygiene, and safety regulations

  • Basic computer literacy and experience with POS systems

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Supervise daily cafe operations and ensure smooth service flow.

  • Lead and motivate front-of-house staff, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.

  • Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and performance; provide on-the-job training and feedback.

  • Coordinate with kitchen and barista teams for efficient food and beverage delivery.

  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally.

  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in all areas of the café.

  • Manage inventory, place supply orders, and ensure proper stock levels.

  • Ensure proper cash handling, POS transactions, and daily sales reporting.

  • Support the implementation of promotional activities and ensure brand standards are followed.

  • Assist in scheduling shifts, delegating tasks, and managing workflow.

  • Report any operational issues or maintenance needs to the higher authority.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation

  • Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise in safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so
