  • Strong understanding of international tendering procedures and procurement rules.
  • Sound knowledge of chemical products, specifications, MSDS, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and tender portals.
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).


Responsibilities & Context:
  • Identify international & local tender opportunities related to chemicals, raw materials, industrial chemicals, specialty chemicals, and allied products.

  • Monitor tender portals (e-GP, international procurement portals, BCSIR, UN, World Bank, ADB, EPC contractors, government & private sector).

  • Analyze tender documents, eligibility criteria, scope of work, and risk factors.

  • Search and analyze government & private tenders (E-GP, PWD, BPDB, Gas, Power, Industrial & Chemical plants).

  • Maintain compliance with DoE, DGDA, BSTI, Customs, and other regulatory authorities (where applicable).

  • Attend tender opening meetings and manage post-bid clarifications.

  • Prepare complete tender documentation, including technical proposals, commercial offers, datasheets, compliance matrices, and bid forms.

  • Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and laboratories to obtain technical specifications, MSDS, COA, test reports, and certifications.

  • Prepare pricing strategies that consider costs, duties, taxes, logistics, and margins.

  • Support contract negotiation, clarification meetings, and post-bid discussions.

  • Assist in preparing contract agreements, performance securities, advance payment guarantees, and insurance documents.

  • Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and finance teams after tender award.

  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, chemical handling standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

  • Maintain tender records, bid status reports, and performance tracking.

  • Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical business practices.

  • Build and maintain relationships with government authorities, private clients, consultants, and international partners.

  • Conduct market research on chemical products, competitors, and emerging opportunities.

  • Prepare management reports on tender performance, win/loss analysis, and pipeline status.
