Responsibilities & Context:

Position: Business Development Manager

Company: Maximo International / Alibaba.com Channel Partner – Bangladesh
Location: Dhaka, Bangladesh

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities, markets, and potential clients.

  • Develop and execute business growth and expansion strategies.

  • Recruit, lead, and manage a sales team of 4–6 members.

  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams.

  • Generate leads and convert prospects into customers.

  • Support customer onboarding and ensure smooth client engagement.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.

  • Support marketing, branding, and promotional campaigns.

  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and business plans.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.

  • Solid knowledge of sales and marketing.

  • Leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Strong presentation and proposal-writing skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles.

  • Experience in B2B, digital platforms, or international trade will be an advantage.
