Responsibilities & Context:

Group Insurance (Employee Benefit)

  • Identify and develop new corporate clients for Group Life, Group Personal Accident, and Group Health Takaful.

  • Design customized benefit proposals for organizations according to their employee welfare policies.

  • Lead proposal presentations, negotiations, and finalization of group insurance agreements.

  • Ensure timely renewals and upselling of additional benefits to existing clients.

  • Maintain strong relationships with HR heads, decision makers, and brokers/intermediaries.

  • Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and operations to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing.

  • Organize client engagement sessions, wellness programs, and policy servicing activities.

Alternative Distribution Channel (ADC) – Group Insurance (excluding Employee Benefit)

  • Identify, pitch, and establish partnerships with Banks (excluding Bancassurance), NBFIs, MFIs, MFS operators, Telecom operators, Insuretech companies, etc.

  • Develop customized group insurance propositions for ADC partners’ customers, members, or user base.

  • Lead end-to-end partner onboarding, agreement finalization, and launch planning.

  • Drive sales campaigns and activations with partners to achieve target contributions.

  • Provide training and support to partners’ field force or digital teams to promote group Takaful schemes.

  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth operational integration, underwriting, and claims servicing.

  • Ensure all activities under ADC comply with Shariah guidelines and local regulations.

General Duties

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for both segments.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adjust strategies proactively.

  • Prepare timely performance reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review.

  • Maintain high standards of compliance, ethics, and service quality.
