∎ Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
∎ Other: Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories. Valid driving license and own motorbike.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Identify and develop new market opportunities for iFarmer's agri-input products within assigned territories.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the agricultural sector, including farmers, retailers, distributors, and agricultural organizations.
∎ Collect and analyze market data, including crop patterns, pest and disease prevalence, and farmer preferences.
∎ Identify key SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) to focus on based on market demand and profitability.
∎ Provide valuable insights to the team to guide product development, marketing strategies, and sales efforts.
∎ Promote and develop farmer oriented climate smart agri-input products, highlighting their benefits and value proposition to potential customers.
∎ Organize and conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and farmer training programs to showcase product effectiveness.
∎ Generate lead, nurture and maintain long term sustainable relationships with location wise farmers
∎ Assist Operations team to achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth for the Agri Input department
∎ Market Penetration and Development:
∎ Identify and develop new market opportunities for iFarmer's agri-input products within assigned territories.
