Responsibilities & Context: Department: Sales & Business Development
Reporting To: Business Development Manager / Marketing manager / CEO
Primary Job Objective: To drive business growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities for partnerships, market expansion, and new sales channels, while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Opportunity Identification
- Conduct market research to identify business opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Prepare reports and presentations on growth opportunities.
Lead Generation and Networking
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and partners.
- Engage with potential clients through calls, emails, and events.
- Represent Rayns Computer at trade shows and exhibitions.
Strategic Planning and Proposal Development
- Collaborate with teams to create tailored proposals and presentations.
- Develop business models and revenue forecasts for new opportunities.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts in line with company policies.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Regularly update clients on new products and promotional offers.
- Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly.
Sales and Revenue Growth
- Achieve sales targets and revenue goals through closing deals.
- Collaborate with marketing for product positioning and campaigns.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Collaboration and Communication
- Align business strategies with marketing activities.
- Provide client feedback to product and marketing teams.
- Supervise sales and telemarketing activities.
- Present progress reports to management regularly.
Administrative and Reporting Duties
- Maintain accurate client records in CRM tools.
- Monitor regulations and ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports.
