Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Bachelor in any subject from a recognized University; Business Administration/ Development Studies/Agriculture is preferable.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Deshifamer Limited is looking for some hardworking, honest, responsible & energetic young individuals against the position of "Business Development Executive".
∎ January 2023 -April 2023 (4 months) initially
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Backward and forward markets linkage and play an effective role in creating access and increasing sales of potatoes and other vegetables.
∎ He/She will be responsible for implementing the field activities, formation of farmers' groups and management community, and conducting regular community-level meetings.
∎ Ensure community mobilization, proper survey, selection of stakeholders, coordination, market linkage, and collaboration with the relevant private sector and government sector.
∎ Assistance to the Project Manager in ensuring the farmer's point/aggregation point day-to-day smooth functioning, record keeping, monitoring, problems identification, and provide solutions.
∎ To collect field data and relevant information through field visits and dialogue with stakeholders.
∎ Assisting staff in developing entrepreneurs' business models, and marketing plans, organizing learning and sharing sessions among project staff, mentoring and evaluating staff.
∎ Coordination and communication with project stakeholders, GOs, NGOs, Private Sectors, CBOs, Service Providers and IRCO.
∎ Ensure effective networking and coordination with potato market actors, Develop planning for potato Sales and Marketing.
∎ Effective communication with wholesalers, buyers, arotder/agent, retailers.
∎ Team building and achieving the goals as per target.
∎ Innovating new markets & developing relations with new and existing customers.
∎ Execute any other task assigned by supervisor/ management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 34 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Technical Skills
∎ Familiarity with aggregation point/ collection point, and potato market of Bangladesh
∎ Interpersonal skills
∎ Able to work independently, leveraging support from relevant team members.
∎ Good communication skills in Bangla with local entrepreneurs and community
∎ Software skills
∎ User of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
∎ Familiarity and usage of Email software and Windows OS
Salary: Tk. 14000 - 16000 (Monthly)
